Affordable Connectivity Program Enrollment Now Open!

Early in December, the FCC announced that the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP) would be transitioning to the Affordable Connectivity Program.

Congress created the Affordable Connectivity Program, a new long-term, $14 billion program, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. This investment in broadband affordability will help ensure we can afford the connections we need for work, school, health care, and more for a long time.

The benefit will provide a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

*The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a government program that reduces the consumer’s broadband internet access service bill as long as FCC funding is available. Households will be subject to Greenlight Networks’ undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions in the event the program ends and they continue to receive service. Eligible ACP customers can select Greenlight Networks’ Amazingly Fast! 500/500Mbps speed plan for $20/month or apply a $30/month discount to your monthly bill for any Greenlight Networks plan as long as FCC funding is available. Households may obtain broadband service supported by ACP from any participating provider of their choosing. Households may transfer their ACP benefit to another provider at any time.
