Greenlight Networks Adds Director of Sales and Strategic Growth

Rochester, N.Y. – August 19, 2020 – Greenlight Networks, the fastest fiber-to-the-home provider in New York State, today announced the addition of Andre Green as Director of Sales and Strategic Growth. In this newly created position at Greenlight, Green leads the development and execution of strategies and programs targeting multi-dwelling units (MDU), planned single-family communities and commercial customers. In this role he also is the point person for developing and managing relationships with real estate brokers and developers.

 

Green joins Greenlight from Verizon Wireless where he was most recently Director of Sales for Verizon Wireless Business Group, leading a 43-person sales team in the Media, Technology and Professional Services industries. Green has more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, including 15 years at Verizon Wireless in strategic sales and business development leadership roles including 3 years managing the SMB, Enterprise, State and Local Government, and Education for the New York Region.

 

An accomplished sales leader, Green has proven experience in building and growing market share within several lines of business. “Andre is an outstanding addition to the Greenlight team,” said Greenlight Networks Chief Executive Officer Mark Murphy. “He brings proven experience in developing relationships with key influencers and decision makers in the multi-tenet space which will be instrumental as we look to rapidly grow and expand both in Rochester and other upstate New York markets.”

Green has also held positions at AT&T, Lucent Technologies and several venture capital portfolio companies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management.
