Your Summer 2020 Guide

summer 2020

This summer is going to look a little different for all of us. Due to COVID-19, you may be spending a little bit more time social distancing at home. Rather than going to concerts, amusement parks and other large gatherings, you will most likely find yourself hanging outside in the sun with friends.  Don’t let a socially distanced summer keep you from having fun. There are plenty of activities to participate in while keeping you and your family safe.

Our Summer 2020 Guide:

Drive in movies – Check out the Vintage Drive In or visit Frontier Field where they’ll be showing movies in the parking lot!

Neighborhood scavenger hunt – Gather the neighbors, create some clues and let the searching begin. A great way to stay outdoors, social distanced and have fun!

Slip n’ slide – Even if you can’t get your hands on the original summer activity, create your own! Grab a tarp, some bubbles or soap and the biggest hill in your neighborhood. This is a great activity to cool you and your family down.

Virtual Summer Camps for kids – Many summer camps have been cancelled, but that does not mean you can’t bring some of the same activities right to your home! Check out virtual resources like KidztoPros,  idtech,  and YouTube camp videos to keep your children occupied while staying home.

Go for a hike – If you haven’t checked out the #trailsroc app, be sure to read about it today and pick your next location to hike!

Driving range – Hit a bucket of balls to step up your game this summer!
