Greenlight Networks Celebrates Halloween Across Serviceable Communities

At Greenlight Networks, being community-first means showing up for the people and neighborhoods we serve. This Halloween season, we had the opportunity to connect with families, support local traditions, and spread a little festive cheer at three community events: the Rumble Ponies Track or Treat in Binghamton, the Phillipsburg-Easton Halloween Parade, and the Trunk or Treat at Total Sports Experience in Gates.

From handing out candy and Greenlight swag to sharing information about our fiber internet services, these events gave us valuable opportunities to strengthen local relationships, build brand awareness, and celebrate the communities we call home.

How Did We Celebrate Halloween With Families in Binghamton?

On Thursday, October 22, Greenlight Networks returned to Mirabito Stadium for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies Track or Treat for the second year in a row. Hosted by the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, this family-friendly event brought together local businesses, community partners, and families for an early Halloween celebration.

Our team set up a booth and welcomed approximately 1,000 attendees, handing out Halloween candy, Greenlight swag, and marketing materials. The event was a great opportunity to connect with families throughout the Greater Binghamton area, answer questions about our services, and introduce Greenlight to residents interested in learning more about fiber internet.

We also had the chance to reconnect with the Rumble Ponies and other participating local organizations, continuing to build relationships that help strengthen our presence in the community.

By returning for a second year, we reinforced our commitment to supporting the communities we serve and creating meaningful connections beyond the services we provide.

How Did Greenlight Make an Impression at the Phillipsburg-Easton Halloween Parade?

On October 25, Greenlight Networks participated as a Division Sponsor of the 44th Annual Phillipsburg-Easton Halloween Parade, one of the region’s anticipated Halloween celebrations. The parade brought together residents, community organizations, local businesses, high school marching bands, and creative floats for a festive celebration spanning Phillipsburg, New Jersey, and Easton, Pennsylvania.

As part of our sponsorship, we brought Greenlight directly to the parade route with a branded Greenlight vehicle leading one of the parade’s divisions. Vince drove the vehicle while Dave rode along in the passenger seat, helping spread Halloween cheer by tossing candy to the crowds lining the streets.

The parade provided an exciting opportunity to introduce Greenlight to residents throughout the Lehigh Valley, particularly in Easton, an important part of our ongoing regional expansion. Our sponsorship was recognized at two key locations along the route, and the event’s master of ceremonies announced Greenlight as a Division Sponsor while sharing information about our services with the crowd.

One of the most memorable parts of the day was seeing children in their Halloween costumes waving and eagerly collecting candy as the parade passed by. The enthusiasm of the crowd reinforced the value of participating in community traditions that bring people together.

With hundreds of spectators lining the streets, our participation helped increase brand visibility and introduce more residents to Greenlight as we continue to grow in the Lehigh Valley. And if there was one lesson we took away from the day, it was to bring even more candy next time!

How Did We Connect With Families at Trunk or Treat in Gates?

Also on October 25, Greenlight Networks joined the Trunk or Treat event at Total Sports Experience in Gates, New York, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event offered another great opportunity to give back to the local community while connecting with families in a fun, welcoming environment.

Our team hosted a table where we handed out candy, Greenlight swag, and promotional materials. With approximately 1,000 children officially registered and total attendance estimated at nearly 2,000 people, the event brought together a large number of families from Gates and the surrounding Greater Rochester communities.

Beyond the Halloween festivities, the event created valuable opportunities for face-to-face conversations with residents. By being present at a community gathering, we could answer questions, share information about our services, and introduce Greenlight to people who might not otherwise have had the opportunity to connect with us.

We also shared our latest promotion, helping attendees learn more about what Greenlight has to offer. These conversations allowed us to put a friendly face to our brand and demonstrate our commitment to being an active, approachable part of the communities we serve.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to build awareness, connect with local families, and develop relationships with fellow vendors and community partners.

Why Are Community Events Important to Greenlight Networks?

Each of these three events offered something unique, but they all supported the same goal: building stronger connections with the communities we serve.

Participating in local celebrations allows us to engage with residents in a natural, meaningful way. Whether we’re handing out candy to excited children, answering questions about our fiber internet services, or supporting a beloved regional tradition, these interactions help make Greenlight more than just an internet provider. They help us become a recognizable and involved part of the community.

These events also provide valuable opportunities to connect with local businesses, organizations, and community partners. Maintaining these relationships helps us stay involved in the neighborhoods where our customers live and where our network continues to grow.

As Greenlight expands into new areas, including the Lehigh Valley, maintaining this community-first approach remains an important part of how we introduce ourselves to new communities and build lasting relationships with residents.

What's Next for Greenlight Networks in Our Communities?

We’re proud to have participated in these Halloween celebrations and grateful to the organizers, volunteers, local businesses, and families who made each event memorable.

From our second year at the Rumble Ponies Track or Treat to our Division Sponsorship of the Phillipsburg-Easton Halloween Parade and our participation in the Gates Trunk or Treat, these events demonstrated the value of showing up, getting involved, and connecting with our neighbors.

Looking ahead, Greenlight Networks will continue to seek opportunities to participate in local events, strengthen partnerships, and engage with residents throughout our service areas, including the Greater Binghamton area, Greater Rochester, and the Lehigh Valley.
