PORT JERVIS, New York (June 14, 2025) – Greenlight Networks, New York State’s leading fiber-to-the-home provider, is bringing its high-speed internet service to the City of Port Jervis, connecting thousands of homes and small businesses to a faster, more reliable digital future.
The Port Jervis build out represents an incremental $4 million investment, in addition to the investments Greenlight has already made in expanding its fiber network across Orange County and the Hudson Valley region.
Greenlight’s high-speed fiber network is already available in the Village of Goshen, and the Town of Wallkill with continued expansion across the City of Middletown, connecting another 10,000 homes in the next 12 months. The first homes in Port Jervis are expected to be connected as early as this August.
As part of this expansion, Greenlight is partnering with the Port Jervis Police Department to house its network equipment within the Municipal Building on Hammond Street. This ensures the community receives strong, secure connectivity with infrastructure powered by, and rooted in, the community it serves.
“We’re pleased to support Greenlight Networks in this important infrastructure expansion,” said Dominic M. Cicalese, Mayor, City of Port Jervis. “Reliable, high-speed internet is critical not only for residents and businesses, but also for public safety and city operations. We are proud to have the City of Port Jervis Police Department serve as the host site for the network equipment, and we look forward to experiencing Greenlight’s services firsthand. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening essential services and supporting long-term growth in our community.”
“Port Jervis is an exciting next step in our continued expansion across Orange County” said Mark Murphy, CEO of Greenlight Networks. “We’re focused on reaching more communities that have been underserved for far too long. We are working hard to give the residents of Port Jervis faster, more reliable internet experience – one that’s also affordable, and built for the way people live and work today.”
Greenlight’s fiber-optic network in Port Jervis will initially focus on downtown and surrounding areas through the Fowler, Grand and Orange areas including neighborhoods from West Main Street to Owen Street and up to Canal and Ryan Street.
“Access to fast, dependable internet has become an important part of everyday life, said Conor Eckert, President & CEO, Orange County Partnership. “Greenlight’s fiber infrastructure supports neighborhood revitalization, digital inclusion, and meaningful investment in historically underserved areas across Orange County. We’re excited to welcome Greenlight to Port Jervis to help create new opportunities for residents and businesses alike.”
Delivering High-Speed Fiber Services with Transparent Pricing
Greenlight has built a strong reputation among both residential and business customers for offering fast speeds with affordable—and transparent pricing models since 2011. Unlike traditional cable providers, the company does not require contracts and never adds surprise taxes or hidden fees.
Greenlight’s multi-gigabit fiber services deliver internet speeds as high as 8 Gbps, with a base speed of 500 Mbps. Because fiber internet provides symmetrical upload and download speeds, users can enjoy seamless streaming, remote work, gaming, and video calls without lag or buffering.
