Greenlight Networks is proud to announce the launch of the second session of its Optical Telecom Installer Certification (FBA OpTIC Path™) Training Program, a tuition-free workforce initiative offered in partnership with the Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC) and the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA).

Greenlight Networks, New York’s fastest growing fiber-to-the-home internet provider, is accelerating its fiber internet expansion plans across Rochester in 2025, including announcing several new buildouts in towns on the west side. Representing a $30 million investment, Greenlight is rapidly expanding its network footprint into new neighborhoods located throughout Greece, Gates, Chili and Hilton.

Greenlight is making moves to get established in other states. In April, it announced $19 million in projects for northeastern and south-central Pennsylvania. In July, it revealed it is acquiring Loop Internet, a Scranton-based provider, as well as a $100 million buildout in Baltimore, Maryland.

Greenlight Networks, New York’s fastest growing fiber-to-the-home internet provider, is doubling down on its commitment to Orange County, bringing next-generation connectivity to even more Hudson valley neighborhoods, businesses, and community organizations.

Greenlight’s high-speed fiber network is already available in the Village of Goshen, and the Town of Wallkill with continued expansion across the City of Middletown, connecting another 10,000 homes in the next 12 months. The first homes in Port Jervis are expected to be connected as early as this August.

In April, Greenlight announced its expansion into Pennsylvania to build fiber internet networks in both the Northeast and South-Central regions of the state. The acquisition of Loop Internet will significantly expand Greenlight’s presence in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and accelerate the deployment of its state-of-the-art fiber network.
