The sights, sounds, and colors of autumn were on full display as Greenlight Networks participated in Harvest Fest 2026 in Historic Downtown Bethlehem. Hosted by the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Bethlehem Association, Harvest Fest brought together residents, local businesses, community organizations, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and local vendors for a celebration of everything that makes fall in Bethlehem special. Harvest Fest is a free community festival featuring live music, shopping, food, and seasonal activities in the heart of downtown Bethlehem.
As a proud Friends of the Fall Sponsor, Greenlight welcomed the opportunity to be part of the event and spend the day connecting directly with local residents. The weather couldn’t have been better. Fall colors lined the streets, the sun was shining, music filled downtown, and thousands of visitors gathered to celebrate the season.
Listening to the Community’s Internet Needs
One of the most valuable parts of community events like Harvest Fest is the opportunity to have real conversations with the people who live and work in the neighborhoods we serve.
Throughout the day, Greenlight team members spoke with Bethlehem residents about our ongoing fiber internet expansion across the City of Bethlehem, while also sharing updates on future growth plans in Easton, Pennsylvania and Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
Many attendees expressed a common theme: they are looking for a better, more reliable internet experience. Residents shared frustrations with service interruptions, inconsistent performance, and limited provider options. They also asked thoughtful questions about fiber internet, network reliability, and when Greenlight service may become available in their neighborhoods.
These conversations reinforced something we hear in communities across the region: people increasingly depend on internet connectivity for work, education, entertainment, healthcare, and staying connected with family and friends. They want internet they can count on every day.
Bringing More Fiber Choice to the Lehigh Valley
Greenlight is investing heavily in the Lehigh Valley, including ongoing expansion throughout Bethlehem and future growth in surrounding communities. Our goal is simple: give residents access to fast, reliable, 100% fiber-optic internet backed by a company that prioritizes both network performance and community engagement. Greenlight has committed significant investment in Bethlehem as part of its broader Lehigh Valley expansion and emphasizes a community-first approach that includes local partnerships and participation in community events.
We believe building a network is about more than laying fiber. It’s about building relationships, understanding local needs, and becoming a long-term community partner. Events like Harvest Fest provide an opportunity to do exactly that.
Why Community Events Matter
As Greenlight continues expanding throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring markets, community events remain an important part of how we engage with residents. Before construction begins, during network buildouts, and long after service is available, we want community members to know who we are and how we can help.
Harvest Fest offered a chance to listen, answer questions, and learn more about what matters most to local residents. Those conversations help shape how we communicate, serve customers, and invest in the communities where we operate.
Thank You, Bethlehem!
Thank you to the event organizers, local vendors, performers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello during Harvest Fest.
We enjoyed meeting so many members of the community and look forward to continuing our work across Bethlehem, Easton, Phillipsburg, and the greater Lehigh Valley region.
As Greenlight grows, our commitment remains the same: delivering the reliable fiber internet communities deserve, backed by a team that believes the strongest connections are the ones we build with the people we serve.

Why are residents interested in fiber internet?
Many residents are looking for faster, more reliable internet service to support remote work, online learning, video conferencing, streaming, gaming, and the growing number of connected devices in their homes. Fiber-optic networks offer significantly more bandwidth than traditional cable or DSL connections, helping households maintain consistent performance even when multiple people are online at the same time. Residents are also attracted to fiber’s lower latency and improved reliability. Greenlight continues to hear from residents seeking more choice, better performance, and a more dependable internet experience.
What makes fiber internet different?
Fiber-optic internet transmits data using pulses of light through strands of glass fiber, allowing it to carry much more data over longer distances with less signal degradation than traditional copper-based networks. Fiber connections can deliver consistently fast speeds, lower latency, and greater network capacity, making them well-suited for modern activities such as video conferencing, cloud applications, 4K streaming, online gaming, and smart home technology. Greenlight’s 100% fiber-optic network is designed to provide a reliable, future-ready internet experience with symmetrical speed capabilities and the capacity to support growing household connectivity needs.
