A big concern for many people looking to switch their internet service providers is losing their email address that’s associated with their current internet/cable provider.
Â
Luckily, there are lots of ways to migrate your email from your current email address to a new email account, like Gmail. You won’t be able to send emails from the cable provider email address, but you’ll be able to receive any emails that come through to the old address.
Â
To forward your Spectrum emails to your new Gmail address:
- Log in to your Spectrum email account.
- Go to the Settings or Options menu.
- Select the “forwarding” option and enter your Gmail address where you want to receive your emails
